Soccer Recap: South Gwinnett Falls Short of Lambert in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, South Gwinnett couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 4-0 to the Lambert Longhorns on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, South Gwinnett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Lambert are ranked sixth).

South Gwinnett's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Lambert, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

As of now, neither South Gwinnett nor the Longhorns have any future games scheduled.
