Basketball Game Preview: Blessed Trinity Titans vs. Walker Wolverines

The Blessed Trinity Titans and the Walker Wolverines will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Saturday, Blessed Trinity took a blow against Christian Heritage, falling 72-32. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Walker had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 66-58.

Walker's win came from a few key players Blessed Trinity will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Xavier Berry, who went 9 for 12 on his way to 22 points in addition to eight assists and five steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anderson Carey, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 22 points.

Walker's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Blessed Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
