Soccer Recap: Crestwood Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Crestwood was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Greater Nanticoke Area last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Comets lost 7-2 to the Wyoming Valley West Spartans on Friday. Crestwood haven't had much luck with Wyoming Valley West recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Wyoming Valley West, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Crestwood will face off against rival Wilkes-Barre at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wyoming Valley West is set to square off against their familiar foe Pittston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
