The Meadows School Mustangs will host the Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate at 6:30 p.m. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on The Meadows School, who comes in off a win.

Last Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, The Meadows School beat Pahrump Valley 26-20. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Meadows School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ej Nwapa, who posted eight points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Nwapa has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alexa Carambas, who earned ten points.

Meanwhile, Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Boulder City, falling 49-22. The Pirate were down 41-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

The Meadows School now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Everything came up roses for The Meadows School against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 42-7 win.
