Hillgrove is a perfect 7-0 against East Coweta since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Hawks will venture away from home to square off against the Indians at 1:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hillgrove is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Etowah 3-0. The Hawks not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Hillgrove walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-12, 25-22.

Meanwhile, East Coweta entered their tilt with West Forsyth on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 3-1.

East Coweta had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-21, 25-14, 25-23.

The victory got Hillgrove back to even at 18-18. As for East Coweta, their win bumped their record up to 14-20.

Hillgrove was able to grind out a solid victory over East Coweta when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
