Basketball Recap: Spanish Fort Comes Up Short

Spanish Fort was the 56-51 winner over Fairhope when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Spanish Fort Toros took a 64-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairhope Pirates.

Spanish Fort has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. As for Fairhope, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Spanish Fort will challenge Daphne at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairhope, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Murphy at 6:00 p.m.
