Forest Hills took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Penn Cambria Panthers as Forest Hills made off with a 13-3 win. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Jeff Beyer and Kolbie Smiach made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Beyer pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Smiach tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Those two hits allowed gave him a new career-low. At bat, Beyer scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Smiach scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three runs gave Smiach a new career-high.
