Basketball Game Preview: Granite Falls Tigers vs. Tyee Titans

The Granite Falls Tigers will face off against the Tyee Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Granite Falls will be strutting in after a victory while Tyee will be coming in after a loss.

Tyee better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Granite Falls really get things going. Granite Falls blew past University Prep 59-35 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers who have now won three contests in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 60 points the game before, Tyee was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They were beaten by Lindbergh 68-18. The Titans have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Granite Falls' victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Tyee, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
