Recap: Clarkstown North Rams vs. Brewster Bears
The Clarkstown North Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 32-7 defeat at the hands of Brewster. While losing is never fun, Clarkstown North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 324th, while Brewster is ranked 138th).
Theo Ryan threw for 55 yards on four of nine attempts. Aidan Pompei was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Mohammed Barrie was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
Clarkstown North has yet to win a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 1-8 record. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.3 points per game. As for Brewster, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5.
Clarkstown North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brewster also has no future games currently scheduled.
