Dunedin put their dominant defense on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hollins Royals by a score of 7-0. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 13-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Dunedin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Samayah Barnes, Olivia Santoro, and Abby Hooper picked up one apiece.

Dunedin's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 0.0 points on average over those games. As for Hollins, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Dunedin will take on Lakewood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dunedin's defense has only allowed 7.3 points per game this season, so Lakewood's offense will have their work cut out for them.
