Basketball Recap: Gaston Takes a Loss

Gaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Portland Christian Royals and fell 106-25. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Royals are ranked 31st).

Gaston's loss dropped their record down to 1-25. As for Portland Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 28-2 record this season.

Looking ahead, Gaston will challenge Vernonia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Portland Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Faith Bible Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
