Beloit had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 23-8 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They won by a set and slipped past the Ellsworth Bearcats 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Bearcats on Tuesday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Beloit found their leader in sophomore Colbi Stroede, who had 21 assists.

As for Ellsworth, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 24-7. Their defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Ellsworth lost, don't look at Kelli Rodriguez. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs.
