Softball Recap: Hartland Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Sunday. Hartland fell just short of Lakeland by a score of 13-12. Hartland was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Lakeland earlier this season, when they won 8-0.

Hartland's loss dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Lakeland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Hartland will look to defend their home field on Monday against Belleville at 4:00 p.m. As for Lakeland, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-4 victory against Anchor Bay on the 18th.
