West Sabine is a perfect 10-0 against Brookeland since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as West Sabine Tigers face off against Brookeland Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. West Sabine is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

West Sabine is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Converse 18-6 on Friday. Considering the Tigers have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Katie Lindow was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzy Bragg, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Lindow wasn't the only one working in the hit department: West Sabine kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Brookeland came up short against Groveton on Friday and fell 5-1.

Paige Powell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Brookeland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carlee Justice, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Brookeland's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 16.9 runs. As for West Sabine, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

West Sabine came out on top in a nail-biter against Brookeland when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. Does West Sabine have another victory up their sleeve, or will Brookeland turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
