Volleyball Recap: Warren Warriors vs. Sotomayor WILDCATS

Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sotomayor WILDCATS. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the WILDCATS earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Leah Erb paced Warren's offense, picking up nine kills. Erb got some help from Gabby Davila and her 20 assists. Davila was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Leading Sotomayor to victory were Julieta Munoz and Jalyne Garcia. Munoz had 21 assists and 13 digs, while Garcia had 17 digs and one assist. That's the most assists Munoz has posted since back in September.
