Soccer Recap: Canyon del Oro Comes Up Short

Canyon del Oro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Casa Grande Cougars. The Dorados were probably out for revenge after losing 5-2 to them when the teams met back in December of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Yamen Hadi and Isaiah Cabellero scored both of Canyon del Oro's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Canyon del Oro's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Casa Grande, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3-1.

Canyon del Oro wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Vista Grande on the 21st. Casa Grande has also already played their next game, a 5-2 victory against Eastmark on the 17th.
