Volleyball Recap: Lake Ridge Comes Up Short

Lake Ridge was the 3-1 winner over Duncanville when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Panthers and Pantherettes on Saturday.

Dawn Moore paced Lake Ridge's offense, picking up five kills. Moore got some help from Zoe Patteson and her five assists.

Duncanville can attribute much of their success to Madison Hatley, who had 17 digs. That's the most digs Hatley has posted over her last five matchups.

Lake Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Duncanville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Lake Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Johnson on the 23rd. As for Duncanville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Weiss on the 23rd.
