Football Recap: Geary Comes Up Short

Geary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Ryan Cowboys, falling 56-12. If the Bison were looking for revenge after losing 60-12 to the Cowboys when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Geary's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ryan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Geary will face off against rival Mountain View-Gotebo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ryan is set to challenge their familiar foe Temple at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
