 While Wilsonville put up some  runs on Wednesday, the same  can't be said for Canby. The Wilsonville Wildcats walked away with  a   5-0  win over the Canby Cougars. That's two games straight that Wilsonville has won by  exactly five  runs.
 Not much got past  Mia Rucker, who gave up just  four  hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Canby off the board. Rucker has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings every time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate, Wilsonville's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Olivia Meoak, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 The  win  got Wilsonville back to even at 6-6-1. As for Canby, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilsonville will  square off against Hood River Valley at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Wilsonville's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so Hood River Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Canby, they will head out on the road to  challenge  La Salle at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
