O'Connell had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.1 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They really took it to the Briarwood Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up a 100-25 win. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 20 points or more this season.

Jarrius Smith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12 for 20 to rack up 31 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Roderick Dozier, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 16 boards.

O'Connell was working as a unit and finished the game with 28 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

O'Connell's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.4 points. As for Briarwood, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
