Volleyball Recap: Regis Groff Takes a Loss

Regis Groff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bear Creek Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fusion of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Regis Groff's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Bear Creek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Regis Groff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against George Washington on the 27th. As for Bear Creek, they will venture away from home to face off against Columbine at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Bears their first taste of in-conference action this season.
