It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cherokee Bluff had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 63-54 win over the Monroe Golden Tornadoes. The victory was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on six straight.

Despite the loss, Monroe still got an impressive performance from Kie'Aundria Acree, who dropped a double-double with 38 points and 17 rebounds. The matchup was Acree's 51st in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Glendalys Harvey, who posted two points and 12 boards.

Cherokee Bluff's record now sits at 23-8. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-6.

Looking ahead, Cherokee Bluff will take on Jenkins on Friday. Cherokee Bluff has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three contests. Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
