Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge lost against Snowflake back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets were beaten by the Snowflake Lobos 69-29. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Lobos are ranked 17th).

Blue Ridge dropped their record down to 9-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Snowflake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge will welcome Round Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Snowflake has already played their next contest (against Winslow), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
