Basketball Recap: Rogers Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

It's playoff time, and Rogers had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Lauderdale County Tigers by a score of 43-34 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Rogers' victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11. As for Lauderdale County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Rogers will venture away from home to face off against Colbert County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colbert County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Rogers likes a good challenge. Lauderdale County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
