Football Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Legacy Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 44-6 takedown of Noli Indian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions took an 18-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mojave Mustangs on Friday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Mojave was led to victory by Jordan Davis and Jordan Chillis. Davis rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while Chillis rushed for 77 yards and one score on only six carries.

Legacy Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mojave, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against Maricopa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mojave, they will head out to take on Laton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
