Basketball Recap: Orr Takes a Loss

Orr won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They lost 48-27 to the Von Steuben Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Spartans have suffered since December 19, 2024.

Orr's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Von Steuben, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Orr does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Von Steuben, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Corliss at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Von Steuben's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Corliss has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
