Basketball Game Preview: Central Kitsap Cougars vs. Silas Rams + How To Watch

Central Kitsap hasn't had much luck against Silas recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cougars will venture away from home to challenge the Rams at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Wednesday, Central Kitsap came up short against Mount Tahoma and fell 74-65.

Meanwhile, Silas ended up a good deal behind Gig Harbor on Wednesday and lost 77-61. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Tides: they've now lost three in a row.

Central Kitsap will need to focus on slowing down MakHai Pleasant-Tolliver, one of several Silas players who made an impact when they last played. He shot 44% from the field on his way to 22 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Collier, who went 6-for-15 en route to 18 points.

Silas' loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Central Kitsap, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Central Kitsap barely slipped by Silas when the teams last played back in December of 2025, winning 69-68. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
