Softball Recap: Russell County Takes a Loss

Russell County lost against Pike County back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 10-2 to the Bulldogs. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Russell County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kinsley Enfinger, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Russell County's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Pike County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-18 record this season.

Russell County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-2 victory against Park Crossing on the 17th. As for Pike County, they will head out on the road to challenge New Brockton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
