Basketball Recap: Jackson Skates Past North Miami Beach with Ease

There's no place like home for Jackson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They claimed a resounding 60-30 victory over the North Miami Beach Chargers. The Generals pushed the score to 44-15 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chargers had little chance of recovering from.

Jackson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordany Fils-Aime led the charge by putting up 13 points and six rebounds. Fils-Aime has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Marioel Jackson, who posted 13 points and six boards.

Despite the loss, North Miami Beach still got an impressive performance from Jesus Mayorga, who earned eight points.

With the win, Jackson broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8. As for North Miami Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Jackson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-15 loss against South Plantation on the 24th. As for North Miami Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-26 defeat against Southridge on the 28th.
