Basketball Recap: Wewoka Takes a Loss

Wewoka lost against Holdenville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wewoka Tigers fell just short of the Holdenville Wolverines by a score of 45-43.

Dah'Myah Olden was her usual excellent self, going 9 of 17 on her way to 25 points and five boards for Holdenville. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Olden has scored at least a third of Holdenville's points. Bella Smith was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Wewoka dropped their record down to 3-17 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Holdenville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

Wewoka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holdenville, they will welcome Chandler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
