Soccer Recap: Nation Ford Takes a Loss

Nation Ford entered their contest against Fort Mill on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Falcons fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Nation Ford came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Fort Mill are ranked 61st).

Nation Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Fort Mill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Nation Ford didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Northwestern on the 4th. As for Fort Mill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 0-0 win against Catawba Ridge on the 4th.
