Basketball Game Preview: Mathews Blue Devils vs. King & Queen Central Royal Tigers

Having just played yesterday, the Mathews Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Mathews lost to Lancaster at home by a 88-72 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, King & Queen Central came up short against Essex on Monday and fell 49-41. The Royal Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King & Queen Central suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 5-4. As for Mathews, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Mathews lost to King & Queen Central on the road by a decisive 64-46 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Mathews avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
