Basketball Recap: Holliday Eagles vs. Jacksboro Tigers

The Holliday Eagles entered their tilt with the Jacksboro Tigers with 24 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 25. Holliday was the clear victor by a 80-54 margin over the Tigers. Holliday's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Holliday's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keitenn Bristow, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Bristow hasn't dropped below 16 points for 22 straight games. Cayden Howard was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six assists and two steals.

Jacksboro lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Eli Jonas, who scored 12 points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lando Belcher, who scored 17 points along with five assists.

Holliday's victory was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Jacksboro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
