Basketball Recap: Ansley/Litchfield Spartans vs. Loomis Wolves
Ansley/Litchfield played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Loomis Wolves and fell 64-37. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.
Grady Keeshan had an outrageously good game for Loomis as he shot 58% from the field to rack up 24 points and seven boards. Those 24 points gave Keeshan a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Graham Trompke, who posted ten points along with five assists and three steals.
Ansley/Litchfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Loomis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.
Coming up, after both having extra time off, Ansley/Litchfield and Sandhills/Thedford will shake off the rust and duke it out on January 2, 2026.
