Northland Christian skates past New Braunfels Christian Academy with ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Northland Christian Cougars had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past New Braunfels Christian Academy 61-6 at home. Considering Northland Christian has won six matchups by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Micah Hall, who rushed for 156 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries. Hall was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards.
The win (which was Northland Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 46 points. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Northland Christian will look to defend their home field on Friday against Central Texas Christian at 7:30 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Tabor Tyson and Hall. New Braunfels Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
