Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Juneau-Douglas). They put the hurt on the Homer Mariners with a sharp 71-46 win on Friday. The Crimson Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Juneau-Douglas and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Homer, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Juneau-Douglas won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Homer, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Soldotna at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
