Basketball Recap: Providence Country Day Comes Up Short

Providence Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Moses Brown Quakers, falling 68-40.

Moses Brown was led to victory by Otis Crosby and Donovan Clement. Crosby went 9 of 15 en route to 22 points and five rebounds, while Clement went 8 of 13 on his way to 20 points. The matchup was Crosby's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Mburu, who posted four points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Providence Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Moses Brown, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Providence Country Day didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-45 victory against St. Patrick Academy on the 27th. As for Moses Brown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-64 loss against Portsmouth on the 27th.
