Soccer Recap: Webb City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Parkview last Thursday, Webb City came back down to earth. The Cardinals lost 5-1 to the Ozark Tigers on Tuesday. Webb City haven't had much luck with Ozark recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Webb City's goal came courtesy of Avery Pogue, who's now up to ten this season.

Webb City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Ozark, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Webb City will challenge Neosho at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ozark, they will face off against Nixa at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
