Basketball Recap: Carrick Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

It's playoff time, and Carrick had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 73-62 victory over the Bedford Bisons on Wednesday.

Several Bisons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jacob Wilson, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 17 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Koontz, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.

Carrick's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points over those games. As for Bedford, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

Carrick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-61 defeat against Chestnut Ridge on the 21st. Bedford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
