Softball Recap: Nogales Takes a Loss

Nogales fell victim to Walden Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Red Wolves, falling 10-0. The Apaches just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Nogales' loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Walden Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nogales will face off against Cienega at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Apaches surely won't give up without a fight. As for Walden Grove, they will square off against Sahuarita at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Red Wolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
