Beddingfield fought the good fight in their overtime game against Princeton on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 60-57. When it comes to explaining why Beddingfield lost, don't look at Darrian Jones. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten rebounds. Jones is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. JamaJay Ward was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight rebounds.

Princeton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Evan Pate led the charge by going 8-for-15 en route to 19 points in addition to six boards and three blocks. Those 19 points gave Pate a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Harrison, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 15 points.
