Volleyball Recap: Appalachian Christian School Takes a Loss

Appalachian Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Shenandoah Valley Academy Stars. While the Trailblazers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Stars 25-20 in the first set.

Appalachian Christian School started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-18.

Appalachian Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Shenandoah Valley Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Appalachian Christian School will welcome Cornerstone Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Shenandoah Valley Academy, they will take on Takoma Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
