Basketball Recap: Jordan Skates Past Summit Academy with Ease

There's no place like home for Jordan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Summit Academy Bears 57-30 on Monday. The Beetdiggers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Tess Jacobson had a dynamite game for Jordan, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Glauser, who went 7 of 9 on her way to 15 points and seven boards.

Summit Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Sydney Orme and Sierra Johnson. Orme posted ten points, while Johnson had three points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Jordan pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Summit Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Jordan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 45-32 loss against Sky View on the 4th. As for Summit Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-18 defeat against Northridge on the 3rd.
