Camden had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Newberry on Tuesday. Camden's pitcher stepped up to hand Newberry an 11-0 shutout. Camden not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th.

Zechariah Haney made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Haney was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Camden let Wyatt Thompson and Brady Furniss run wild. Thompson scored a run while going 3-for-3, while Furniss scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Thomas Bishop was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

The win got Camden back to even at 10-10. As for Newberry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.

Coming up, Camden will challenge Hartsville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Newberry, they will head out on the road to take on Silver Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
