Softball Recap: Valley Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Valley Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 21-5 takedown of Shandon last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Valley Christian Academy lost 19-1 to the North Stars on Friday.

Valley Christian Academy's record is now 1-4. As for North, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Christian Academy will head out to challenge Laton at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North, they will venture away from home to face off against Santa Maria at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Santa Maria has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.71 runs per game on average), something North will no doubt try to take advantage of.
