Softball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Northwestern's offense. They came up short against the Bowie Bulldogs on Friday, falling 22-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Bowie, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Bowie has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Bladensburg on the 4th. Hopefully Northwestern paid attention to the Bulldogs' game: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Bulldogs on Friday.
