Recap: Chaparral Lobos vs. Deming Wildcats
The Chaparral Lobos lost against the Deming Wildcats back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Chaparral lost to Deming at home by a decisive 59-42 margin. Chaparral has struggled against Deming recently, as their game on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Chaparral still got an impressive performance from Celeste Ordonez, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Dominquez, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Chaparral has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Deming, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-10.
Chaparral didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-40 victory vs. Santa Teresa on the 8th. Deming has also already played their next contest, a 44-24 win against Silver on the 8th.
