Volleyball Recap: Bolles Comes Up Short at Home Against Ponte Vedra + How To Watch

Bolles unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Ponte Vedra Sharks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Sharks: they've now lost six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-15.

Sophia Albaugh paced Bolles' offense, picking up five kills. Albaugh got some help from Lily Adams and her 14 assists. Mallie Brackin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bolles didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Tocoi Creek on the 21st. As for Ponte Vedra, they are taking a road trip to take on Nease at 6:30 p.m. on the 27th.
