Preview: Grasso Tech Eagles vs. Bolton Bulldogs
The Grasso Tech Eagles will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Bolton Bulldogs at 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday. Bolton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Grasso Tech, who comes in off a win.
Grasso Tech had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Prince RVT by a score of 66-54 on Tuesday.
Grasso Tech had a senior duo take command as Nick Stavesky scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and three steals and Charis Johnson dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists. Ethan Chacha- Mizhquiri was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Bolton was the victim of a rough 53-28 defeat at the hands of East Granby on Thursday.
Grasso Tech's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Bolton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
