Soccer Game Preview: Woodbridge vs. Portola

The Woodbridge Warriors will take on the Portola Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Tuesday, Woodbridge and St. Margaret's finished up their game with a 0-0 draw. The outcome might've been different if Josh Torres hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Meanwhile, Portola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to University. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly three goals.

With that draw, Woodbridge's record moves to 2-9-5. As for Portola, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1.
